Temporary Housing for the Site Keeper

Introduction
Two large family homes were designed to come up in the Savandurga Hills. These two sites required a manager to live in the vicinity to take care of the incoming construction material and the workers. A temporary structure made of MS and recycled polyaluminium boards was proposed for the Site Keeper.

LOCATION:

Savandurga

DESIGN:

A 24 by 48 feet, two-storey house with a sloped roof was designed for the Site Keeper. The lower storey is a makeshift material garage on one side and a worker's quarter on the other side.

These two spaces are connected by a kitchen. The upper floor was designed to be a private space for the site keeper with a living area, open kitchen, bedroom, and toilet. All materials used are recyclable and reusable. Watch the buildup video!
